OUR STORY
I’m Katie and my husband is Danny. We are the Geigers.
It’s no secret that we enjoy traveling. It’s our favorite hobby to do together – I crave travel.
To be honest, I have always wanted to start a travel blog. I always joke that if I quit my job, I will be doing something directly related to traveling.
If you’ve talked to me a couple of times, you will know that I studied abroad. Yes, I am that girl who talks about it all the time. However, it’s shaped me into who I am today. Living in Germany for a year was truly the best thing that has happened to me. I lived and worked in a country where I couldn’t speak the language. I visited many countries, experienced amazing cities and I met the best friends I could ever ask for. In fact, almost all of them flew in for our wedding from all different countries and all of different nationalities.
While the majority of posts come from me, Danny is on the backside taking photos, helping with content, etc.
When I’m not working, I am traveling or planning travel ideas, riding at CycleBar, or hanging at home with my dog, Pete, and cats Spanky, Rascal and Froggy.
So here’s why we are here:
Every trip we’ve taken in the last three years, we get questions like “How do you travel so often?” “How do you find cheap flights?” “Do you use a travel agent?” “Can you help me find a flight to xyz?” and I want a place where our friends, family and their friends and family can learn more about how we travel and the places we visit. Traveling on a budget is possible.
Throughout all of this, I hope this inspires you to travel, to try new things, visit a new city and enjoy the world. Life is short and the world is big!
