Throughout the years, I’ve been receiving deals to my email with flights to Japan for $300’s, Europe for $200’s+, Australia for $600’s. How? I signed up for Scott’s Cheap Flights.
Scott’s Cheap Flights is my best travel hack. I’ve flown to Europe from GSP for as low as $449. No long layovers, on Delta Airlines, and I was able to choose my own seat.. window seat forever.
Scott’s Cheap Flights send out travel deals based on the membership you have. They have a free version, but you don’t receive all the deals, only some. As of July 1, they now send domestic deals as well, not just international which is perfect timing amidst the COVID19 Pandemic. They also have a premium version, which is $49 a year and you receive 5x the amount of deals. Premium is a no brainer since if you book one of their deals, you’ll be saving much more than $49.
Not sure if you want to spend money on another subscription service? Try it for yourself for 14 days free.
You start off by picking your departure airports. I chose the closest ones to me, and one near my in-laws since flights to Washington DC are relatively cheap. Greenville (GSP), Asheville (AVL), Charlotte (CLT), and Atlanta (ATL) are all within 3-hour range of me with Delta having a hub in Atlanta and American having a hub in Charlotte.
Once you choose your departure airport, the emails will start coming in. They are not guaranteed every day since this is solely based on the airline, but some days I’ll receive one deal and another, I’ll receive multiple. The email will then explain the months the deal is valid for, what airlines, and the best way to find the deal on Google Flights. Click here to see my other blog post on Google Flights.
